I recommend to read Doc's site. Cycles and volume studies are complementary. We tried to merge the two studies, but finally found that it's better to leave them as they are and take advantage of their independent signals. Biggest gains can be achieved when both system has confirmation and in alignment. While volume studies have no projection to the future, cycle studies have. Volume studies are excellent to signal tops, while cycle studies are great to pick bottoms.
